With Love From........Hunt

Sometimes I do a complete hunt, sometimes I pick & choose. There are so many hunts going on right now, I have no time to do them all or even complete one, so I pick & choose based on shops I like & items I see on other blogs that I like. One of the current hunts, "With Love From" has quite a few great items in it that I have picked up, I'll blog a few of my favorites for you this week. Each item is 10L making this hunt full of great bargains.

BOSL Shooz

Oh My! It's been a week since I have posted any goodies for you! I'm sorry. I have had post photos ready but no time to do the write ups. RL Christmas & family visiting from Paris have kept me occupied.

TresBeau Goodies

Tres Beau has a really delightful Christmas outfit in the Peace On Earth Hunt. It's a must have for your holiday wardrobe! Cute and sexy without being too slutty, just how I love the things I wear!! The globe is very easy to find & right out in the open!

If you go to the right as you enter the store, there is also a similar outfit in red that is a dollarbie. And if you care to wait for your letter to come up, they Lucky Chair has a gorgeous gown in it now! I got the gown & I love it!

My boots are from Bax Coen. I love their boots! These are from their regular line and now they have a holiday boot in the shop also that will color change to 4 colors with great white cuffs on the top. The perfect holiday boot!!

A la Folie ~ A Must Have Dress!

I must admit, I have some really beautiful dresses and gown but I have never had a dress like this! The quality is impeccable, the fit is perfect and the prims are astonishing! As I stand still, the prims flow with the breeze in a graceful, gentle motion. I am in love with this dress. I am in love with this designer! Everyone does prims but not everyone can DO prims.

This dress is a great Christmas bargain & a must have for your closet, even if you only wear dresses occasionally. Kittos Group Gift

My Goodness! It seems all I blog about lately is sweaters, coats & other warm, winter clothes. Winter has come where I live in real life & the land I reside on in SL is snow covered also. My friends & I stand outside of out homes chatting about our real lives and about things going on in our Second Lives. We need things to keep us warm here just as I wear warm things in my real life. Truthfully, I hate winter but I love the clothes that winter brings.

I found this great coat at Kittos. It's free for group members, just hit the joiner & the coat can be yours too.

I love the texture of the tweed and the buttons are unbelievable. I'd love to have this in my cold real life!

Skating Away On The Thin Ice Of A New Day

My dear friend, Masqerade Damask recently sent me a note card announcing Bax Coen's newest addition to their line~Stiletto Ice Skates. I rushed right to her home to get a picture for all of you!

As with everything Bax makes, these are beautiful & well detailed down to their name on the blades! They come in four colors, white, black, silver & gold. The gold pair have gold blades, very pretty! They have an ice skating animation and sounds built in and as always, script resizing to fit you perfectly. The skates are a bargain at 390L.

You an also accessorize your skates with legwarmers that come in 38 colors. Brights have 6 shades per pack at 190L and the whites and blacks have 4 shades per pack. The cable knit is great. A great way to dress up your boots.

Jackets For All

As usual sf designs has come out with another free gift that is wonderful & available for both sexes! This red and black plaid duffle jacket can be worn by the rugged male avi or dressed up by the beautiful female avi by adding a nice scarf & nice leather boots. It's a versatile piece that we all need in our closet.

The Dressing Room & Dressing Room BLUE are shops with items from assorted designers offering an item at a reduced price. If you have never been to either shop, it's always worth a stop every few weeks when they rotate the items! Better yet, join the group and get notices when the stock changes! It's worth it!

One of the items in Dressing Room BLUE is this great dress by AvaGardner Kungler. As with everything she makes, this dress is perfect & fun! The fun fur print and feathers as the skirt make this a great dress for a night at the club! I love everything she does!

Rockberry~Fabulous Skins, Fabulous Gifts

It's Christmas time all over the grid & lots of really wonderful gifts for the taking! I love getting free things, as you do too & even better for me when they are well made free gifts I will wear & keep in my closet!

Rockberry has some great things under their Christmas tree for you to come pick up. My favorite is this henley sweater. Yes, I am blogging a lot about sweaters! I wear them a lot in real life & since Fand dropped snow in the Realm, I need them in my Second Life too! They come in 4 colors, rust, pink brown & blue and look so fine! You'll find the sweaters in package 3.

There are also some nice knit stockings and socks in multi colors that will help keep you warm. They are in package 4.

Layering 101~Another WTF Moment

We all know that a lot of designers will put 3 layers in any shirt folder. The underwear layer~this icon looks like a tank top, the shirt layer~this icon looks like a shirt, and the jacket layer~this icon is a red jacket icon. If you think of these layers in this way, you can usually dress properly, sweaters over shirts & a jacket on top for the cold weather. It's pretty simple, your shirt is the tank layer, your sweater is the shirt layer & your coat will become the jacket layer. Prims are extra & attach where they need to.

Now, what I wonder is why would a designer even make anything but an underwear layer for what appears to be chest hair on the above photoed avi. Apparently he does not know about layering! let's see, a pink tank top, a wool or leather long duster coat and shorts so cut off if he had his package in, it would be hanging out! Then the chest hair,,,OMG the chest hair! Growing out of the tank top, out of the jacket, OH MY!

This avi was NOT a noobie either, he was class of 2007! Amazing!

Please don't go out dressed like this, you never know if you will be my next "WTF Moment".

Care For Some *Latte*?

Recently I ran across a nice shop called *Latte*.  The inspection of a sweater brought me here & I found things that I fell in love with. Such a nice shop!

While you are shopping, you can enjoy your selection of designer coffees including latte! Such a nice hostess as well as a great designer!

Joining the group is like having Christmas! There are 5 group items to get & another free item on the other wall! You can get the sweater & bolero jacket Song is wearing along with a set of light colored tights (4colors), a set of dark colored, striped tights (5 colors) and a beige sweater with a great touch at the neck!

On the other side of the door, you'll find a pack of tights with jewelry accents. These are great!

Free Purple Booties

I love GOS shoes & boots! They are very well made & highly detailed. They make the best pair of Docs on the grid! These shoes are scripted to fit your foot after you put them on so you always have that perfect fit.

They have a little pair of purple booties up for grabs as part of the "A Very Depraved Christmas Hunt".  Since there are so many hints going on right now, I seem to be picking & choosing what I want to go look for. I know I can't have it all, I'm not Barbie.

I love the comfortable, worn look of the leather & the little leather bow!

Fifty Linden Friday

Fab Free Xmas Shopping Tour~Aqua

From December 1st thru December 24th, Fab Free is having a Holiday Shopping Tour of designers that are part of the Fab Free family. You will find a shopping cart set out with gifts, at least 1 will be free others can be priced from 10L to 100L. There will be a sign to touch that will give you a list & LMs to all the designers participating.

Song & I decided to hit Aqua tonight to pick up some festive holiday sweaters. The Reindeer sweater is free, the Candy Cane is just 10L. Both are very well made and are keeping us warm with all the snow at the Realm now. There are 2 other sweaters there also at 50L.

Fabulous Boots

I logged on to find a LM and photo from the Queen and a short IM telling me about these great boots she had bought! When the Queen speaks, I listen, so off I went to an old favorite shop G Field.

G Field had the great boots I blogged about at Halloween time, so I was familiar with the quality of Cerberus Noel's work. Always great pieces for my closet!

I went straight to the boots & stood there forever trying to decide what color I wanted. ALL looked great! As always, I choose the red, it's just my color. Our Queen got a camel pair.

They are priced well at 180L and fat packs are 800L. Buy one or buy all.

Here are photos of Fand & myself with our new boots. You have the option to wear them with or without the rose decorations and they are completely resizeable.
